Trump and his lawyers KNOW that the immunity argument is going to fail.
They don’t care — because the WHOLE point of the argument is to cause delay.

@tristansnell more than that, if their argument wins, it will apply to Biden and future democratic presidents. Delay keeps functional immunity only for Trump and they want it to fail for everyone else so they are making the worst argument possible.
