I finally got mormons over to my house! They are so eager to talk. I'm going to use this dude as a therapist.... like... "OK Josephs Smith is great and all but can I talk about my feelings and relationship?" He will say yes. I love it
@XenoDangerEvil And when you feel you've reached catharsis and are prepared for the session to end, you can just ask "OK so where are all the swords?" and they'll leave.
@spacehobo Yeah, the thing with them is that every mormon I've met has been super genuine and nice. I don't actually wish this guy malice but I have also lost some bro time recently and think it might help my mental health to just shoot shit with a complete nice stranger. And not pay for it.
@spacehobo Oh I know. I am very familiar with cult tactics and manipulation. I kind of obsess over it to the point I could probably tell them when they missed their mark. I could help them hone their skills....
@XenoDangerEvil Sure, just be ready for them to see each vulnerable statement you make as an opportunity to present their scripture as a "solution". It's part of the training, and it can be exhausting to deal with once you're seen as a "project".
