Mastodon is not for everyone. It is not going to attract Fiat 500 Twitter, or Strongbow Dark Fruits Twitter. We should be content with it spreading organically by word of mouth between library mice in tiny cosy sweaters and IT technicians in bondage gear.

@Nickiquote yeah... there are a lot of people lamenting mastodon growth and seem infatuated with numbers getting bigger. I've never been at a punk show with 25 awesome people in the audience and wanted 300 more people who don't understand or even like the music. Filing the room with chaff isn't how you build community.
