@robpike I have bash and awk scripts in my ~/bin/ last edited in 1995 that I still use daily. They work just fine.

There's plenty of technology that works well and for a long time. Definitely cannot say the same thing about the businesses that have attached themselves to tech though.

It is not all broken and unfixable. We know what to do. It's just very difficult, and being actively fought against.
