Yep, I'm going on another rant. When you start learning about First Wave Feminism, it's shocking how radical it was. One of the major ideas was to get women out from under household chores, so they could have time to pursue things they were actually passionate about. The ideas were radical and very socialistic, communal lifestyles where people share chores, so everyone has time for what they want to do, and little underground trains that brought you meals, and took the dirty dishes away. Now it feels like we got a half-hearted sexual revolution and a microwave, but women still do the majority of housework and childcare. There are more women in the work force than men, and there are more women with higher education than men, and there is STILL PAY DISPARITY. Somehow women are working harder than ever. How the hell did that happen?
