There are a surprising amount of people with both the skills and willingness to help me hide a body. This is what Mastodon is all about, community.
Nestled deep in the highland forests of Scotland lies an abandoned Opel Olympia. A strange scene, but a beautifully photogenic one.

So while I hate Tucker Carlson and want him banished from the media sphere. I think it is interetsting that he said these things in private. That he recognized how hate could turn his heart to violence and at least said he disavowed it. I don't know if he was being honest about it, but you can't write that sort of thing without a little bit of self awareness.
Anyway, fuck Tucker, but it helps to know that the people we disagree with are people with thoughts and consciences sometimes.
and would be crushed if he was killed. If I don’t care about those things, if I reduce people to their politics, how am I better than he is?
I could taste it. Then somewhere deep in my brain, an alarm went off: this isn’t good for me. I’m becoming something I don’t want to be. The Antifa creep is a human being. Much as I despise what he says and does, much as I’m sure I’d hate him personally if I knew him, I shouldn’t gloat over his suffering. I should be bothered by it. I should remember that somewhere somebody probably loves this kid,
This is his whole thing, it is terrible and I don't condone it, but it is more self aware than the media that I see wants it to be:
A group of Trump guys surrounded an Antifa kid and started pounding the living shit out of him. It was three against one, at least. Jumping a guy like that is dishonorable obviously. It’s not how white men fight. Yet suddenly I found myself rooting for the mob against the man, hoping they’d hit him harder, kill him. I really wanted them to hurt the kid...
Fuck Tucker Carlson. But we need to read the whole text. He was scared of his own bloodthirst and questioned himself. The "not how white people fight" is racist, stupid and terrible. Read the rest though. I want him to get the fuck out of culture and media, but I do have to begrudgingly acknowledge that he showed some self awareness and shock at what he had been feeling. We need to take these moments to help them stop. If we mock them for their moments of weakness they will never get better
I worked for the burningman project as Department of Public Works for 16 or so years. I have been programming since I was 12 and this is my 1st forray into social media. Here's hoping federation lives up to its promises!
